Padgett provides durable idlers. We have since back in the 1960"S when productivity meant profit instead of survival. A mining engineer from a small town in West Virginia coal community developed 2 idler improvements to drive down unit-productivity. Today the manufacturers seem to have a steel roll, aluminum made roll, and disc roll line. But we believe none are as durable as Padgett's, ceramic rolls. Our idlers have been proven to last.

In 1974 our idlers were installed in coal fired power plant conveyors, They were still in service 7 years later! We still believe in our Idlers and are still making the same quality durable rolls as we always have. Our idlers have excelled in many tough processing plants such as aggregates, cement, phosphate , silica, coal. and potash.
